April-May Exchange Complete! Please Enjoy Two Sample Poems
Hello Everyone, here is a brief update, two sample poems, and the links for the next month!
We have switched to an every-other-month schedule. This issue is a "breather," issue going out a little late due to some other obligations taking up my writing time. As usual, here is the link to next month's submission form and here is the link to the subscription form, which I check a few times a month.
We also have two sample poems for you to enjoy!

Human Time
by Amy E.
This is human time!
Mining, fracking, exploding,
All bow before us.
Transforming all to servants,
Beings run from us in fright.
This is human time!
Paving, burning, shattering,
All yield before us.
Our culture screams, “Buy this now,
enjoy life and have it all!”
This is human time!
Shooting, trapping, enslaving,
All die before us.
Gone are meadows and forests,
Gone are starry night skies.
This is human time.
Waking, aching, wondering,
What was before us?
Why are we so desolate?
What have we done to our home?
This is human time.
Searching, pausing, opening.
So much more than us.
The true nature of no self,
The true nature of no death.
This is human time.
Breathing, sitting, accepting,
All are friends with us.
Humbling ourselves to let go.
All beings want happy lives.
This is human time.
Smiling, bowing, nurturing,
All beings are us.
Resting in the four abodes,
Serving all living beings.

One Tanka
by Jade K.
in my bed thinking about sleep.
Grandma's dead.
I forgot to make tomorrow's
iced coffee.
Nowhere but here.
